New data show that a signature Biden-Harris program to remove illegally entered families  allows nearly 90% of migrants in the US to remain.

Since May 2023, 24,000 migrants have been placed in the Family Expedited Removal Program. More than 22,000 of them were allowed to remain in the US. Only 2,600 were deported. This is a little more than 10%.

According to internal data, more than 3,600 migrants are also believed to have absconded and remain unaccounted for.

These numbers further prove that the Biden and Harris administration’s policies are not about securing the borders or enforcing laws, but rather masking their utter refusal to actually do either of these things to gain future voters.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green:

““Such a dismal rate of removals makes clear that President Biden, ‘border czar’ Kamala Harris, and now-impeached DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are committed to ignoring U.S. immigration law, while attempting to hide that fact from the American people. Ultimately, these individuals have a simple responsibility — detain and remove those who have no lawful basis to remain.”

The program was announced in 2023 and was marketed as a means to “impose consequences for illegal entry into the US by requiring an ankle monitor on an adult member of the family.
