A new poll just came out for North Carolina and it is good news for Donald Trump. The former President is now leading Harris thanks to amazing support from Hispanic and independent voters.
The poll was conducted by American Greatness and shows Trump’s numbers going up in North Carolina. As you may know, North Carolina is one of the critical 2024 election battleground states and Trump is leading Harris by 3 points. This margin is larger than his 2020 North Carolina victory.
The North Carolina poll also indicates that Trump is doing well across all demographics including by 10% among independents and 43% among Hispanic voters.
Voters seem to think highly of Trump’s ability to turn around the economy and stop the illegal immigration at the Southern border.
56% of those polled said they were better of during Trump’s presidency. He is ahead by 22% on border security with 57 percent of voters liking his immigration policy better than Kamala’s stance. 51% of those polled also said they trust Trump more on on national security. By comparison, only 35% like the Harris national security policy.
With 15 electoral votes up for grabs, North Carolina remains a state where both Trump and Harris are planning to continue campaigning hard.
However, it is highly likely that Trump will win North Carolina, just as he did in 2020 and 2016.
