While the democrats may look united, Joe Biden is said to be still quite upset about the coup that put a stop to his re-election campaign,
Not too long ago, the installed President was looking forward to his primetime speech at the DNC, to make his case as to why he should be reelected.
But now that he is just a lame duck President, he won’t be there for many of the week’s “festivities.” This means he won’t be attending Barack Obama‘s speech on Tuesday of the convention. This is fueling speculation that the installed President holds resentment over his ouster.
This also means that Biden won’t be doing the symbolic handover of the election torch to Harris, even though he did endorse her.
Obviously, democrats are afraid that this will signal a wrong message to Independents and Republicans who are still on the fence over how to cast their vote.
