The Pennsylvania Department of State announced that results of the upcoming state’s election in November would not be available on election night.
Theystated in a post on social media that Pennsylvanians will not always know the results of all races at election night. Changes in the results as countries continue to count votes are not proof that an election was rigged.

This announcement is similar to the results of the 2020 elections, when the initial results seemed to favor President Donald Trump at the close of polls. As mail-in votes were counted over the next few days, Joe Biden somehow won Pennsylvania. Some critics have been frustrated by the lengthy counting process. They argue that results from state elections should be made public immediately after November 5 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Pennsylvania lawmakers failed to pass legislation that would have allowed pre-canvassing, which could have sped up the count. Unfortunately, the legislative session ended with no changes made to the law, despite an initiative passed by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in May.
